To evaluate values and experience with facilitating end-of-life care among intensive professionals (registered nurses, medical practitioners social workers) to determine perceived education support needs. Using a cross-sectional study design, 96 completed survey on knowledge, preparedness, patient family preferences, organisational culture, resources, palliative values, emotional support, planning in providing care. General adult unit at tertiary referral hospital. Compared registered reported lower instrumental after death, including colleagues asking if OK (p = 0.02), availability of counselling services 0.01), insufficient time spend families less in-service for topics 0.002) symptom management 0.02).
